1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla cake mix
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (for extra flavor)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch cake pan or two 9-inch round pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan(s).
- Bake for 28-32 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan before frosting or serving.
- Garnish with sprinkles, berries, or your favorite frosting.
Notes
If you’re like me and enjoy keeping things simple but delicious, adding a teaspoon of almond extract along with the vanilla can really elevate the flavor.
